Hi, my name is Dr. Daniel Diaz, and I am the Practice Owner and Medical Director at Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital. I am passionate about providing high-quality care and helping my patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of the hospital, I enjoy staying active, working out, and spending time with my wife, Krista, and our daughter, Stella. We also share our home with two lovable Goldendoodles, Penelope and Mabel, and Mabel is always flashing her signature smile at everyone she meets.
Why I Chose This Profession
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and I have always had a passion for both science and animals, which made veterinary medicine the perfect fit for me.
Education
I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University in 1998.
Professional Background
I enjoy all aspects of general practice, with a special interest in surgery and in building lasting relationships with clients. I believe the best veterinary care combines advanced medicine with open communication, so pet owners can make informed decisions about the health and well-being of their companions. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where pets receive outstanding medical care and families feel supported every step of the way.
Work History
I joined Pebble Maryland Animal Hospital as the Practice Manager when it first opened in 2001. Over the years, I helped the hospital grow, mentored fellow veterinarians, and cared for countless patients before becoming the practice owner in 2017. Today, I am proud to lead a team dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine and treating every pet like family.
